A 29-YEAR-old woman has died after slipping off rocks at a beach near Esperance on WA's south coast.
Police said the woman, a New Zealander who was travelling in WA from Brisbane, was fishing at Twilight Beach in Esperance on Sunday afternoon when she was swept into the ocean.
Police are yet to inform her family and are preparing a report for the Coroner.
It is expected her name will be released within 24 hours when her family has been notified.
The woman's death is the second rock-fishing drowning on the south coast in a month.
A man was swept into the sea and drowned early this month at the notorious Salmon Holes, a popular Albany salmon fishing spot during the recent school holidays.
