ROSETOWN, Sask. -- Two Saskatchewan hunters have been fined for illegally shooting and chasing wildlife from a vehicle.
The province's Environment Department says Nick and Bruce Kushner from the Biggar area were convicted under the Wildlife Act and fined $7,580 in Rosetown provincial court.
Both men are also suspended from hunting for three years. Nick Kushner had to give up his firearm.
Other hunters saw the two men chasing a deer and shooting at it from their vehicle near Elrose last December.
Conservation officers investigated and charges were laid.
